Leonardo Vieira — known as Leozinho — is a black belt under Romero Cavalcanti and one of the most complete competitors in BJJ history. Famous for a crowd-pleasing, dynamic game that matched his results, Leo co-founded both Brasa and Checkmat BJJ, building one of the sport's most successful competitive teams. As a coach he has developed world-class athletes including Marcus Almeida 'Buchecha', Lucas Leite, and João Assis. His influence spans both sides of the mat — as a competitor and as one of the sport's most important team builders.
